sj Rocky - check out http://cds.jrd.org.uk/list/cd.rol.bade.shtml . The common Brussels '73 show has the Brussels version of Brown Sugar. The REALLY hot version IMHO is the Rotterdam one.

Taylor cuts up the track beautifully with a slide solo. Haven't seen a London version myself, but no doubt is sitting in BBC archives for some future release.

I might add that any caramel sweet girls I meet are dubbed 'Brown Sugar'. Luscious

Cheery,
sj

Andy L Of the London 9/9/1973 tracks, only Happy, Gimme Shelter, Doo Doo Doo Doo Doo (Heartbreaker) and Street Fighting Man have been broadcast.

The entire Brussels 17/10/1973 1st show has been broadcast except for Star Star. Two versions are available - the original 1974 broadcast (best heard on VGP's Europe '73) and the 1987 remix (best heard on VGP's Nasty Music).

Zack I thought the intro was just cut out on the one-disc Brussels (perhaps because it was in French?)and only Heartbreaker and SFM are from London.

I will compare the two tonight and opine later.
