Staffan (also posted this on Keno's, but I figured there might be more Londoners here...)

Just wanted to inform you that my favourite Swedish band, "Trd, Grs och Stenar" (trees, grass and stones) will play in London and Brighton in a week from now. They are all over 50 years old and have played together since the late sixties - so these guys are no newbies exactly.

They play mostly psychedelic and minimalistic music, on two guitars, bass and drums. Inspired by Terry Riley, but they REALLY have their own style. They are so groovy and you sort of get in a trance when you hear them. You just GOTTA listen to this band!

their site is at www.tgs.nu - you can listen to their music there.

gypsymofo60 Just what they need down Brighton way, a dose of real rock n' roll. Too much Groove Armada and Fat Boy Slim types down on the coast. Maybe next time I'm in town things'll be different. Bloody hell! Brighton's night life hasn't been rocked since The Jam bowed out at The Conference Centre back in '82, then again Maggie Thatch' and The Torie crew got rocked by The IRA there in '84 didn't they?
