The Stones longevity is nothing short of remarkable.

Of course!!

Enjoy.

Nope they hold the record.....some people even think they invented the mag! (they didn't by the way)

Also you forgot issue 1000 with the 3D image jagger and richards are in the front line to the left...

I don't know the exact numbers but judging from the fact that the Beatles career spanned a whopping 6 or 7 years (Flash in the Pan) and The Stones are 40+ years now, it would hands down be the Stones just by virtue of common sense guesswork.

[BTW thanks for posting the pics LJ]

VoodooChileInWOnderl BTW, now I see your took the images from other source. Those covers has been here since 2000

http://www.rocksoff.org/magazinecovers.htm

I have plans to include the articles and pix for each issue and also those with the Stones in the back cover as the 60s and early 70s had a bigger cover on the back and some with the Stones

I have a big Rolling Stone Magazine collection mainly 1967-1972, then 1973-1983 since 1984 I only have some issues

LadyJane Are you kidding me???

IF only I'd known this existed I wouldn't have spent 2 hours preparing mine.

Damn Voodoo. You are always one up on me.
