so.. summer time is almost here, and our collective thirsts must be (and will undoubtedly be) quenched.
IF you had to take (only) one case of beer with you on a deserted Caribbean island (with lots of wild weeds..), what would it be? (for those sober RO'ers, NA beers included)
My choice> Leffe's "Vielle Cuvee", Abbaye beer from Belgium
NA beer> Clausthaler Classic, Germany
what's yours? |

10K - have you ever tried the original Budvar (Budweiser) from Czech Republic? It blows Anheiser's Busch away! |

Budweiser won't let them use that name so they sell it as this in the U.S. & yes it's damn tasty
I actually prefer this though (I'm a hop head)
On the island I would like a case of these to sip sloooowly under a shady palm
all the while cranking on a few
but then again I do this every weekend

AHHH - Pilsner Urquel - fine choice.
for myself, however, i would chose a beer that is crafted up in the North Carolina mountains. In Ashevilel to be exact. Highland Gaelic Ale. so fine.
and if we're talking islands... a spliff is required. |

Never. Ever try the Budweiser at the brewery? Never had ol' red eye that tasted that fresh and gooooood. |

ANY beer blows Budweiser away. One beer is so hard. maybe I would choose Harpoon winter warmer for a cool night & a case of Brooklyn Weiss for those Hot Hot days. |

I could never take any of that Yank crap. Glorified cordial. I would have to be patriotic and choose Crown Lager. No, Victoria Bitter, as its bigger.

Nah. Heineken is a good "anti-thirst" but if you like lager, there are more interesting ones: Lowenbrau, for instance. Chinese lager is not bad either.
P.S. Stewed & Keefed has great taste with Stella Artois. |
