Having been to more concerts in Toronto than I can remember, I can give you some advice.
For the Skydome, you absolutely have to get the $300 tickets on the floor. The acoustics are so terrible in the place that you will be very disappointed with anything less.
In the ACC, if you are lucky enough to get into Ticketmaster early, take the cheaper seats closer to the stage than the floor seats. You'll have a much better view and you won't have to worry about everyone standing up on their seats in front of you. If they offer you nose bleed section then try again for the floor. If everything fails, don't buy one but show up on the day of the concert and try the box office. There will usually be a couple hundred seats released the day of the show after they have set it up. Then there are the scalpers. By 9 PM on the night of the show, half-way through the opening act, the scalped tickets will be going for cost or less. Trust me, it works every time.
Toronto has so much to offer in the way of clubs, cheap hotels and food (the Canadian dollar is 64 cents to the US today) that you will thank yourself for going there if you are American or European. |
