i really love the song they play on the video of the song.. rather than the official song on the some girls album.
can anyone tell me where i can get it?

Gazza Good question!

Its definitely on a few bootleg LP/CD's, although I'd have to do a bit of research to check which ones (maybe someone knows off the top of thei heads)

I'd imagine it could be on some of the numerous "Some Girls" outtakes CDs, even though the version you're talking about (its a playback of the studio version but with a live vocal) was actually filmed in New York in may 1978

Wasnt even recorded back then.

Its the promo video version of the single. Like all three promos for "Some Girls", Jagger performs a live vocal over the pre-recorded backing track
