Could also live without Tumbling Dice, though i do love it.
And, in a pinch, Brown Sugar - but i would miss doing the "yeah, yeah, yeah - whoo!" bit.

Daethgod i still dig Start Me Up as an opener

Mick loves it and even the grey haired 'Farnham fans' get a kick out of it , they know the words so they feel 'into it'.

Tho it would be funny if started up with an obscure one like 'Dance'... that would get the non-fans scratching their heads with their $40 programmes ...

J.J.Flash Hey folks.... reading You Got Me Rockin' on your lists make me consider leaving this board......I have fought for this thing at least 86 times in public threads......this really pisses me off.

There's nothing that raise my temper and anger than this.

When I hear that there are people that don't enjoy this raw rocker, I at least have a tiny hope that the problem is with the latest live versions, but at least these people can't have nothing against the brilliant Studio version, including it's outtakes......

Is my last sentence correct at least?
May 12th, 2005 10:44 AM
J.J.Flash Get rid of the fuckin' backup motherfuckers and decrease Leavell's volume in the mix and every fuckin' thing is going to be alright......

As Moonie would say.... that's IMHFO
May 12th, 2005 10:47 AM
J.J.Flash If they play Jumpin' Jack Flash, Brown Sugar, Happy and even a "recent" song like You Got Me Rockin' the same way at the Press Conference, you wouldn't complain at all.
May 12th, 2005 10:50 AM
J.J.Flash Christ.....is Jay alone in this evil world.......
May 12th, 2005 10:53 AM
Voodoo Scrounge I make you right. You got me rocking is a good song, both live and recorded. Great song to kick a gig off with.
The stones also have to keep angie. However it would be nice to hear keith actually play the solo to it on this tour. I understand that its complex, but he is the greatest guitarist in the world.
The Raw Gimme Shelter they did on Bridges to Babylon is by far the best and why the hell dont they play Under my Thumb at stadiums anymore?
I have to say that Under My Thumb on Still life is possible my most listened to stones song at the moment.

HellsRollingThunder Was just curious if the Stones would do their real early songs,
like from the 1960's albums maybe some of the really good ones
on this tour as well as their other stuff would this hurt anything?
Just as an example only here, Reelin and Rockin, or something
like that (not that particular song) but perhaps songs from that
era like from 1964-1968 the really good R&B stuff. I have never
been to one of their concerts just seen an HBO one only. Thanks.
