You may get one but you wont get two. Not on the dates suggested anyway.
The Northern Irish edition of the "Daily Mirror" reports that because of the unprecedented demand for tickets the Stones are "considering an offer to add the concerts" and that the dates for the planned shows are September 12 and 13.
Thats logistically out of the question. This would mean concerts on 11,12,13 AND 14th September (theyre playing London on the last date) PLUS they will probably add an additional London show on 15th September. Four nights in a row and almost certainly five...in two different cities. Absolutely no way are they going to do that. These days its very rare for the Stones to play TWO nights in a row ANYWHERE - even if theyre in the same CITY.
The Stones havent played THREE nights in a row since the 80's. theyre not going to start again now.
Its quite feasible they could add a third show on September 12th but there's no chance of one on the 13th.
the article in question isn't online but I hope to get a copy of it for reproduction here shortly. |

Kinda true Gazza, very rare...I think the only time this tour they played the same venue two days consecutively was Jan. 21st & 22nd at the UC in Chicago. I went to both and could have standed a day three, a day four...lol
It's a shame if the demand is there for ticket sales and a venue is freed open...go for it!

They also played consecutive nights in
DC/Hartford, October 4-5
Ft Lauderdal/Miami, October 22-23
San Francisco, November 8-9
Las Vegas, November 29-30
Tokyo, March 15-16
Osaka, March 20-21

theyve done a few others,Pam but not many.
Landover,Md & Hartford,Ct were successive nights on Oct. 4th & 5th
(only different cities because Hartford substituted a proposed arena show in the DC area that didnt come off due to sluggish sales for the stadium show)
Sunrise & Miami,Fla Oct 22nd & 23rd
San Francisco November 8th & 9th
Las Vegas November 29th and 30th (two different venues)
Brisbane March 4th and 5th
Tokyo March 15th and 16th
Osaka March 20th and 21st.
Generally those two nighters have been followed by a long-ish break however. In the case of Vegas,Brisbane and Osaka they were the final shows in each country at that time.
Just checked - and the last time The Rolling Stones played three nights in succession anywhere was in Tokyo on 19-21 February 1990 in the middle of a series of ten shows in that city.
