i'm batting .500 on that one - they got the alcohol related traffic charge to stick - tho we persuaded the magistrate it was a "trivial offence" and had the penalty reduced to a third
in the other alcohol related incident (during my year long "lost weekend") i was arrested for carrying offensive weapon (i won't go into the details)...anyway, i beat the rap as i had a lawful excuse for carrying same - unfortunately when searched they found my dope (pot) which i thought i had lost (i told you i was drunk)- fortunately that offence can be expidited with a fine - so no ugly drug conviction
as homer put it - alcohol the cause of and solution to all our problems!! |
