PartyDoll MEG I forget you are relatively "new" here.

Bruce fanatics are a plenty here on RO..including me.

That is not a bad set...you can find all things Bruce here:

http://jungleland.dnsalias.com

and this one gives you a list of Bruce bootlegs:
http://www.mv.com/ipusers/richbreto.../d/bootlist.htm

Actually a great boot of River Outtakes is called "A Tear Must Fall"(3 cd's).

Need any more info, I'd be glad to share..but of course, Gazza is the ultimate source

Cool.

ebmp It's a good set. Although I don't know all of these songs, there are several gems on it, like Frankie, Racing in the Streets, Fire, The Price You Pay (with the extra verse.. awesome), and especially The Promise full band. It completely blows away the Tracks version. I don't understand why it wasn't included on Darkess On The Edge of Town.

Little Steven's Sirius channel... It was one of the DJ's... Not Steven himself.
I'd say you can bank on it... If you think about it, he's next in line...
a new album and tour too... KC & The Sunshine band are playing an Indian Gaming Casino that night, they took a pass.
If I'm wrong, I will apologize... If I'm right, which I will be, you can buy me a dinner...

ExileIzzy Bruce Springsteen rocks Asbury Park
Bruce Springsteen took the stage with the Asbury Jukes' Bobby Bandiera on Sunday night (April 29th) at the Stone Pony in Asbury Park, New Jersey. The show, which was a private benefit for the Ranney School which Springsteen's children attend, was preceded by a three hour-plus rehearsal. Backstreets.com reported that the audience paid $3,000 per couple for the intimate club show.

Both Springsteen's wife Patti Scialfa and Southside Johnny Lyons guested on a few numbers during the show, which leaned heavily on Springsteen originals.

Highlights performed at the show included "Cadillac Ranch," "Cover Me," "Spirit In The Night," "From Small Things (Big Things One Day Come)," "Two Hearts," "Rendezvous," "Darlington County," "Man's Job," "Pink Cadillac," "Tenth Avenue Freeze-Out," "Dancing In The Dark," "Brilliant Disguise," and the Rolling Stones' "Time Is On My Side" with Scialfa.

Scialfa was featured on the Exciters' "Tell Him," the Ad Libs' "The Boy From New York City," and Southside's performed Springsteen's "The Fever," among other songs. The show closed with a group rendition of "Twist And Shout."

On June 5th The Boss will release his latest live collection, called Bruce Springsteen With The Sessions Band Live In Dublin. Initial copies of the disc also include a live DVD.

Its a terrific cross section of whats available and still unreleased from that period.

I see 'The Klansman' is on it. Very interesting and quite strange track for him to have written.

Considering how misinterpreted 'Born In the USA' was by the American right when he released it, I can only imagine what the reaction would have been to THAT song had he included it on an album.

PartyDoll MEG Like I said Izzy..the "Master" has spoken. If you want all the Outtakes from a particular album..something us fanatics do, ya know..usually you can find them torrented on the jungleland site or on dime. If not, just ask one of us..we are more than willing to share....

And definitely do not pass up the Seeger Sessions Dublin DVD out in June!!

I was walking home tuesday night and saw Little Steven on my block going ape shit. His car was parked in the middle of the street, there were a bunch of big guys around and he was standing in the road screaming bloody murder on his cell phone.

dude's got one helluva temper

naturally, I stopped pointed and laughed. I think this only infuriated him more

glencar I saw Derek Jeter on the Grand Central Parkway last Sunday. He did NOT look happy!

I saw his ex, Vanessa Minnillo in the supermarket (she just moved in across the street from me)

she looked very happy to see me

I liked how she went out of her way to avoid making eye contact and turned her back to me and pretended to talk on her cell phone. She's such a flirt!

Yeah, the next album and tour is expected to be an E-Street Band project, but the 'Sessions Band' (as theyre now called) will probably be at the core of some of his future work.

Rumours are that the next ESB tour could be the last time they all tour together.

There will also probably be a "Tracks 2" archive release too in the near future.

I always thought that his father was Dutch and his mother was Italian, and that he was not at all Jewish.
