Exclusive - Kaiser Chiefs and Kasabian to support Rolling Stones
The Charlatans are along for the ride too

The Rolling Stones have confirmed that Kaiser Chiefs and Kasabian will be joining them as special guests on their upcoming 'A Bigger Bang' European tour.

As previously reported, Guns n' Roses have also signed up for two dates on the tour, which includes 36 shows in 20 countries.

Kasabian will open for the Rolling Stones at the Zurich Airfield Dubendorf (August 5) and the Nice Palais Nikaia (8), while Kaiser Chiefs will be special guests at the Zagreb Maximir Stadium on July 5.

Guns N' Roses play at the Nurnberg Easy Credit Station on July 10 and Leipzig's Zentralstadion on July 12.

The Charlatans have also been confirmed to play London's second Twickenham Stadium (August 22) show as well as Glasgow's Hampden Park (25).

As previously reported, Rolling Stones legend Keith Richards has suffered a brain haemorrhage after he fell from a palm tree at the weekend.

The star injured himself in a bizarre accident in Fiji last week (April 27). Initial reports indicated he had suffered "mild concussion" following the incident at an exclusive resort.

pdog Kaiser Chiefs and Kasabian are both pretty decent bands... The openers in The USA were pathetic... Metallica the only band that actually rocked, but not my cup of tea anymore...

I doubt it. Even if, they haven't done a real tour since 2000-2001, another year or two off the road will likely make their asking price go up.

Pearl Jam?

Also, I think the fact that they are announcing these acts and continuing planning the tour is good news in relation to Keith's health.
