time is on my side |
I can't pinpoint just one album as it continually shift and changes depending on the moment or mood. Also, an important factor appears to be what album I happen to be listening to. Here are the Stones album that I've considered their best ever at one TIME or another:
EXILE ON MAIN ST
STICKY FINGERS
BEGGAR'S BANQUET
SOME GIRLS
LET IT BLEED
TATTOO YOU
AFTERMATH
Their best released live album- Get Yer Ya-Ya's Out
Their best bootleg- Brussels Affair (Definitive Edition)

I choose Let It Bleed because every song I like. Although I could never argue with those of you who picked Exile On Main Street. Let's face it The Stones have given us many fine albums.

Jumping Jack |
Sticky Fingers |

stewed & Keefed |
BEGGAR'S BANQUET |
|
Bitch |
STICKY FINGERS
When it first came out it had a metal zipper on the cover, and I would play with that zipper thinking it was MICK in the tighty whities. It was only a few years ago I found out that wasn't MICK, it's Andy Warhol's protege! |

btw, those saying Exile are not correct- since at least half of its songs were from the Let It Bleed and SF sessions, if we are talking about recording time period |

It's very hard, as we told here sometimes.
To me, as always: EXILE ON MAIN STREET.
(Of ourse I like ALL the Stones albums, but Exile it's my absolute favorite)

Absolutly no such thing as the "best" album. It changes everyday. Its definately not Exile on Mainstreet, though. |
