Gazza The year in rock: The Stones, U2, Pearl Jam, Avril Lavigne -- and many other big names -- make this the biggest year ever for Ottawa rock fans.
The Rolling Stones will today officially announce a huge Aug. 28 concert for Ottawa, confirming the hottest rumour in a city buzzing with excitement over the high-profile acts that are coming to town this year. With 35,000 fans expected to fill Lansdowne Park during SuperEx, the Stones' show will be the biggest in nearly 50 years of rock concerts in Ottawa
