voodoopug Heading towards the second week of May and our beloved world Champion White Sox are still playing .700 ball and Mr. Conteras is basically unhittable, Bobby Jenks strikes fear into opposing hitters, and Konerko is not having his traditional slow start:

Don't Stop Believin' Lyrics

Just a small town girl, livin' in a lonely world
She took the midnight train goin' anywhere
Just a city boy, born and raised in south Detroit
He took the midnight train goin' anywhere

A singer in a smokey room
A smell of wine and cheap perfume
For a smile they can share the night
It goes on and on and on and on

Strangers waiting, up and down the boulevard
Their shadows searching in the night
Streetlight people, living just to find emotion
Hiding, somewhere in the night

Working hard to get my fill,
everybody wants a thrill
Payin' anything to roll the dice,
just one more time
Some will win, some will lose
Some were born to sing the blues
Oh, the movie never ends
It goes on and on and on and on

(chorus)

Don't stop believin'
Hold on to the feelin'
Streetlight people

LETS PLAY 2!

your country must produce at least an excusable baseball player before entering this discussion.

Some Guy How is America's team, The Atlanta Braves faring thus far?
5th May 2006 11:05 AM
Nellcote Contreras is flourising like he was supposed to in NYC.
Great story, from Cuba to World Series.

sirmoonie Real men reflect on this:

Sir Stonesalot >How is America's team, The Atlanta Braves faring thus far?<

The Phillies just took two from the Braves, putting them 7 games back in third place in the NL East behind The Phillies and the Mets.

Muck the Fets!

Sir Stonesalot Yeah, we could really use 3 more wins.

And don't expect Charlie Manuel to pitch to Bond's either...there's no way he wants #715 coming at Citizen's Bank Park. In three games, Bonds may not even get an official at bat.

Word, Reppie. Baseball is all around lame, with limited skills set required. Whitey loves it though, plus tons of hype as America's game, skank dogs, apple pie, flags, etc. so the liberal media won't let is disappear from the American scene any time soon.

Steelers!

Joey " .... skank dogs .. "

Paris is NOT a skank dog.
