FPM C10 The Ledge is from Lubbock.

So is the great Joe Ely. And the greatest albino slide guitarist in the universe, Johnny Winter, was born in Beaumont, TX, as was his Frankensteinian brother Edgar.

There are almost enough great Texas musicians to forgive them for the horrible crop of politicians they've turned out.

I'll never understand the seeming lack of respect for Johnny Winter. I just don't understand it.

Also I thought that Greg Allman was from Georgia. Oh well learn something new everday.
