I just listened both twice.Pretty good songs,Riff on highwire is very good.So is the entire song as well.
I think these 2,are better than anything later on,only few
exceptions on VL&BTB album. We still had WYMAN there. |

Was he? I know he quit before the videos were shot.
Highwire is cool because it can be recycled for ANY Gulf war America gets into. I'm not nuts about the song, though. Too Mick-y. I've always loved "Sex Drive", though. It was meant as a nod to James Brown when he was going to prison. |

I think Wyman played on both tracks, but he had just left when the videos were made. |

He's in the Sex Drive clip. |

Always dug both of these tunes. Flashpoint was the first Stones album I purchased. Like the version of Sex Drive better on the orginial release, then the Virgin reissue. I like a lot of the Jagger guitar tunes. Highwire, Hold On To Your Hat and Oh No Not You Again. |

Flashpoint is an average live album, but it made loads of new fans worldwide. |

Live Licks makes Flashpoint seem like Live at Leeds or Ya-ya's. |
