I just wanted to take a quick moment and Congratulate our Dear Joey on his 8,000th Post Today !

Thanks Little Buddy -- It is much appreciated . The Cards , Letters and E-Mails have literally been pouring into the office here this morning I just wanted to say , " Thanks " to all of you for your Sincere and Heartfelt Well Wishes . I promise to respond back to each and every single one of you as soon as it is Humanly Possible ...........................Even YOU Kim Jong Ill ( I hope you are feeling better after that narrow escape from an assassination attempt yesterday ) . When I first started posting here back in 1979 ( One year after Josh began posting ) it never occurred to me that I would EVER reach the 8K Post Milestone , and it is because of you , Dear Readers , that such prodigious success has been achieved .

I am very proud of your accomplishment but even prouder of our cyber friendship. Very few people understand the "talent" it takes to do what we have done. To consistantly post things in a fresh, innovative and humorous way is no easy task. You and I have single-handedly kept this board fresh, exciting , and a place where people come to forget about their troubles. I learned a lot from you early on, and you were kind enough to allow me to take your gift and bring it to new levels. I truly hope we meet someday as it would be a privilege to met someone whom I respect so much.

Yes , Since the Rolling Stones are not touring in 2004 , Hopefully we can meet up this Fall in Denver for THE WHO gig . ( More Dates being announced shortly as soon as Pete gets out of Priory ) .
