Thanks!
I think the cheapest tickets are 55 Euro for this one - much the same as the cheapest seats for Wembley and other arenas
I got category 2 seats - paid 677 Euro for 5. theyre at the front of the balcony at the back though. Good ol' fan club eh? I'd love to know where the cheapest seats are!
Twenty one years I've waited for this. Great to see the announcement of a Stones Irish gig on the front page of todays "Belfast Telegraph" !! To get it into perspective,it'll be my 32nd show (35 by the end of the European tour) and it'll be the first time since my FIRST ever Stones gig that I havent had to catch a boat or at least one plane to get to.
hope you got lucky, Gary - look out for the 2nd show goin' on sale and see you in Dublin! |

Stones set to roll in for Dublin date
By Maureen Coleman
ROCK superstars The Rolling Stones are to play a one-off concert in Dublin later this year, it was confirmed today.
The band will roll into the Republic's capital on September 9 as part of its massive Licks World Tour.
The Stones last played Ireland 21 years ago when they headlined Slane Castle in 1982.
Tickets for the concert - which will take place at the Point Depot - go on sale this Friday at 9am, priced 55, 80, 100 and 130 euro.
A spokesman for MCD Promotions said interest in the gig was expected to be huge and that tickets would sell out within minutes of going on sale.
The band announced the Dublin date and three others in Glasgow, Manchester and London, due to "unprecedented demand".
Their London dates are all sold out.
The European leg of their world world tour kicks off in Munich on June 4 and then plays in Italy, Austria, Spain, France, Denmark, Finland, Sweden, Czech Republic and Holland before reaching the UK and Ireland in August and September.
Tickets for the gig are limited to eight per person and can be purchased on the Ticketmaster hotline 0818 719 300 |

Hmm, looks like I was 5 months early in planning my trip to Ireland. We had fantastic weather & I got together with a good friend in Dublin. I hope I get to go back in September to see my boys. |

Gazza, what is the ticket situation for the Dublin show? Will they send the tix to you or will you have to pick them up at the box office on the day of the show? Also, were there any standing tickets available when you got your seated tickets?
