The "Sunday Times" has published their annual listing of the 1,000 richest people in Britain.
As you can imagine, each of the Stones feature prominently. Their individual estimated fortune and their position is as follows:
Sir Mick Jagger �175 m (=180th) (last year,�155m & =203rd)
Keith Richards �150 m (=210th) (last year,�130m & =254th)
Charlie Watts �70 m (=484th) (last year,�65m & =555th)
Ronnie Wood �55 m (=646th) (last year,�50m & =751st)
They're still a bit behind the Duke of Westminster who is worth just under �5 BILLION, so dont expect ticket prices to even out for a while yet...(Walmart owner Robson Walton tops the world list with a value of �54.63 billion, double that of Bill Gates)
The Stones are also listed as 5th in the list of UK companies with most millionaires. To qualify, there must be at least three millionaires associated with a company or band. Ahead of them are (in ascending order) Manchester United FC, Goldman Sachs, The Beatles and Virgin (The combined worth of the 3 UK based Beatles shareholders (Paul, Ringo and Olivia & Dhani Harrison is worth �985 million, �760 million of which is McCartney's)
In the list of music millionaires, Jagger is 6th, Richards joint 9th, Watts joint 26th and Wood joint 34th.
Those above Mick in that list are Sir Paul McCartney �760 m), Lord Lloyd-Webber (�400 m), Sir Cameron Mackintosh (�335 m), Madonna and Guy Ritchie (combined �227m - of which �220 belongs to Madge) and Robert Stigwood (�199m)

simple three word answer = she sells records
She's also head of Maverick Records, isnt she? Considering Alanis Morisette's debut album on that label sold about 27 million, I think that may have kept Mrs. Ritchie in conical bras for many years to come!
