O.K. I hope this goes back on page one this time because I want to recommend the Matrix site, particularly the page link below. On the site, check out "Philosophy" on the Mainframe box [top right]. There are some fascinating discussions, e.g., comparison of The Matrix to Plato's "Allegory of the Cave," Ethics for artificially created beings, etc. Neat stuff to consider before seeing the sequel in a couple weeks. Not to worry--no plot secrets are given away:
