Does anyone know for certain the day the Boys will be flying into the Park?? I'd like to drive down and see it for myself, but I am only seeing "tentative" info. Help!!

I don't think it's silly at all.
Do you realize how many people will see a blimp slowly circling
Manhattan with a giant Tongue logo?
If it has a kick ass sound system booming out of it it would be even better.
What an incredible feat of publicity that would be.
Then a landing in Central Park where thousands of people are already mingling around. The crowd they would get is pre-assembled every day.
It better happen. They would be stupid NOT to do it.

And if they don't land in Central Park they can do something really innovative:
Not many people know this but the Empire State Building is designed to accommodate blimps. At the very top there is a docking station to catch and dock giant blimps. From there they can get out and go down to the observation deck and hold a press conference high above the Manhattan skyline. This will also serve to show the world that we are not scared of the terrorists. The Stones then leave via the Empire State building lobby an out on to the street where hundreds of people have assembled. Including one Maxlugar.
And all the while, and the rest of the day in fact, the blimp with the giant Stones tongue logo is tied to the tip of the Empire State building.

AS there'll be dozens (hundreds?) of media people there,it makes sense that we'll know in advance what day the announcement will be,so keep your eyes on this place and others and you wont miss anything
By the way - are you the same "Meetch" (Michelle) who used to post on the official Stones Bridges To Babylon site and our old "Goin Home" board about four years ago? If so, welcome back!
