I have seen two versions of this advertised on some sites.Apparently, one is called "Marquee Rehearsals" and the other "marquee Live '71" or something. I have a video,it's about 50 minutes long, with 2 versions of "I got the blues" and 2 of "bitch" also played. Is there a separate show available???? |

Some people confuse the Marquee '71 show with the Montreaux '72 Exile tour rehearsals...an amazingly clear version of the Marquee '71 show has recently surfaced...won't be hunting for an upgrade of THAT one anymore! Just got THE best copy of Ladies & Gentlemen...The Rolling Stones I've ever seen too, very close to a master copy! |

I have a video called "The Lost Marquee Tapes '71". It contains 3 versions (albeit, one a false start) of I Got The Blues, 4 of Bitch and 2 of Brown Sugar.

My Marquee video starts out with Chris Jagger talking about the gig in a bar for a couple minutes, then it has the Marquee show plus the extra versions of Brown Sugar, Bitch, I got The Blues, etc..
I really like Taylors guitar solo on Dead Flowers. |

MRD8 Is that clean 'Ladies & Gentlemen' on VHS or DVD. Any clues to tell whether we are buying a clean one like yours? |

There were two shows at the Marquee (march 26, 71) one private show with the I've Got The Blues restarted and one broadcast regular show. I prefer the Leed show on march 13, they played better (Let It Rock is a gas!!!) |
