Man that's just beautiful.
I'd love to have that hanging in the pool room! |

I had that photo hanging in the cubicle at one of my recent places of employment.
As me and Keith were escorted out of the building, I (yes literally) looked at Keith and said, "Well, that one didn't last long, now did it?" |

I actually used that photo, and made it into an iron-on on a 'wife-beater' that I sleep in...looks wonderful! |

During my freshman year of college, I had a great poster of Keith. He was holding a newspaper that read: Pope Declares Keith Richards is God. If you've seen it, you'd know it's pretty funny 'cause of the goofy (strung-out) look on Keith's face. I was wondering if anyone had that pic on their computer? |

This was the reference header and legends
Incognito in limousines, eating on off nights, sneaking in through Canada: "We own it, don't we? And if it's ours, there's no customs" Seattle customs (from Vancouver, BC) - 4th June 1972 with thanks to Ethan Russell
The legend is from the premier public appearance of the photo in Rolling Stone No. 112 July 6, 1972 published some days after the photo was taken in Seattle.
This great photo by Ethan Russell was about to be stolen by the authorities in the customs. Ethan Russel explains "This was in Seattle Customs 1972. I saw Keith standing by the pillar and told him to lean against it. I took two shots and then signaled for Mick to join him so I would have them both, the "glimmer twins." Immigration saw me and threatened to confiscate the film, so I stopped. I knew what I had and didn't want to lose it. "
I have seen this photo several times, but this was the better scan we could post.
Click the image to go for more Ethan, a great photographer and a very nice person, he gave us some authorizaed photos for the website back in 1999.
