Ain't too proud to beg
DUDS:
Luxury
Till next goodbye
If you really want to be my friend(?) cant tell yet

What are the good songs + bad on it in your good knowledgeable opinions?
04-10-02 05:19 PM
nankerphelge Dance Lil Sistah
and Fingerprint File are kick ass shit

Short & Curlies is silly

I like Luxury, but it is one of those songs that reasonable Stones fans disagree on.
I also like Til the Next time -- yer Lousianna recipes have let me down

Agreed on If You Really Want

KEEFNTHAT "The worm has turned on you"

You what? what does that mean ive never heard that before.
What does that mean if it's a Jagger taylor record? I don't hear much good guitar work so far apart from the odd few. Was KEEF "off lost the plot" on this one or what? But If you can't rock me is an architypical Keef riff though, Taylor (bless his frizzy ginger(slightly?) mop head!)could ot have produced a riff like that!

beer

I think Luxury is a great song. The Stones could have written Dance Little Sister in their sleep.

Maxlugar Luxury is a dud???

Oh sweet baby Jesus!

My Friday Night has been ruined! Was planning on listening to it.

I'm not sure I can go on......

I don't know what I'm going to do.....

I am visibly shaken. And what's worse is I'm having a pool put in. I'm going to have to ask that contractor Mr. Thorogile or Thoroman, to speed up my installation and come bring some friends over for a swim. They make fun of me a lot but I guess they're cool.

Developing.......

Maxy, C9!

Nasty Habits Luxury no dud man
Sweet song is she
Got the funny funny vocals
Got no minor key

Short and curlies
is the same way
foot loose and fancy free
she take a handful and the glands, man
she leave the sack for me

I love Stones because they
use the comedy

Is only rocknroll -- not always
take it seriously

Jaxx i love this album. maybe because of the memories it invokes, that was one WILD halloween!(or was it shrooming on rollerskates that was so wild?) anyway, the ARTWORK alone is killer. someone ought to tell keith to button his jacket.

my favorites on this would be:
time waits for no one
fingerprint file (great guitar, great political statement)
if you can't rock me (don't you know that its rude to stare?)
next good bye is a nice love ballad
short and curlies is goofy but great when you're ripped
luxury: a statement against conspicuous consumption. i love that.

i'm sick of aint too proud to, IORR and IF YOU REALLY WANT TO is a true sleeper.

i just shove DANCE LITTLE SISTER into the "chuck berry/50s rock/ sounds like johnnybgood" riff formula category which in my mind includes tunes such as SILVER TRAIN, WHIP COMES DOWN, RESPECTABLE, SHE WAS HOT, SUMMER ROMANCE.

Honky Tonker IORR is actually a song Mick and Keith lifted from Ronnie Wood, not Mick Taylor.

On June 16, 2001 the hit counter of the WET page was inserted here, it had 174,489 hits. Now the hit counter is for both the page and the board. The hit counter of the ITW board had 1,127,645 hits when it was closed and the Coolboard didn't have hit counter but was on line only two months and a half.
