I agree, and even if they no longer tour, I wish they would still at least make studio albums, then do a half month tour here and there as they didn't rule that out. If they had a full year with no pressure of a huge 2 year world tour on the horizon, imagine what the results could be!!

Charlie got the right of feel sick .Itīs not easy to a millionaire 64 year man stay on the road and in the studio for two years in a row.Charlie is a family man.Heīs not like be a rock star,be a drummer is his job and heīs very professional on it.Heīs the best drummer ever and he will quit in the day what he want.

the good Charlie is a very likeable person, but part of the reason that Mick and Keith love him SO much is they are not threatened by him. And correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't that story about Charlie dressing up and hitting Mick prove to be apocryphal?

Hmmmm.
Maybe it's b/c Joey posts alot of nothing, where here, you have some substance. Quality, not quantity!

To answer Jb. Taylor played with the band 5 years, Charlie's been with them for 43... You do the math. Bill doesn't really get the quiiter label either, it's more of a joke. Bill retired, Taylor put on 120 lbs after leaving the best job he'll ever have. Is he playing any Zoo's near you this year?

sun Charlie has given to us so much that he has right to feel how he is feeling now. After 43 years spending time on the road and a far away from his family, which meant to him so much, it is justified to want to complete. How many of you, who have criticized Charlie about his decision, could abide some as he has? Year after year you have have to leave behind to your dear family and do massive concerts, even if you don't at least like to do them? All this because of you have wanted to be loyal to your bandmates.

After being deathly sick, Charlie has realized that he isn't immortal and he want to spend rest of his life with his wife, his daughter and he want to see how his granddaughter grown-up. You are a very cruel person, if you want to denied to Charlie's wish.
