Stray Cat UK If the news that the Stones are giving up touring wasn't bad enough,I've just found out that fucking Bon Jovi will be playing less than a mile from my house on 13th June.

8 weeks to sellout a 25,000 seater stadium. They will do it easily. My wife has been running around the house screaming for 2 hours now and it will only get worst. Luckily I'm working a night shift on the day,so I won't be expected to go.

LIFE SUCKS !

Some Guy We got each other and thats a lot for love, we'll give it a shot
18th April 2006 05:57 PM
Gazza My heart bleeds. Seriously.

Where is this? I dont see anything listed on their site for that date.

Is your wife shouting because shes excited at the prospect or because shes annoyed about it?
18th April 2006 06:05 PM
glencar It sounds like she's excited. Bon Jovi seems to excite many women.
18th April 2006 06:07 PM
Stray Cat UK It's in Hull - arsehole of the world. Tickets go on sale Friday.
We have a new stadium. Saw REM last year and they were suprisingly good.

Unfortunately I'm married to one of Bon Jovi's long-time fans of 20+ years now.

Love is blind (and deaf) I guess !

glencar Where in Hell is Hull?
18th April 2006 06:18 PM
Stray Cat UK North east England .

Teenage mothers ,high unemployment, mass sponging bastards,
massive social housing estates,I could go on,but I think I may become suicidal !

Imagine 20,000 Vikki Pollards singing;

"Oh......... we're half way there
Oh Oh.......... living on income support !".

Oh and car crime capital of Britain. Don't park near the stadium !

I like it here !

Riffhard LOL! I just got into work, and I'm giving away Bon Jovi tix for the show at Giants Stadium(7/18)tonight on the air! I think I'm gonna make the winner sing Living On A Prayer. I'll humiliate about 20 peeps before I give em up!

Of course,I did the same thing with Stones tix. I made the contestants sing their favorite Stones single, and then I picked a winner. The winner sang Sweet Black Angel, and I was so impressed that she would pick that tune that I hooked her up. Even though she butchered the lyrics. Everyone else sang SMU or some other warhorse.

Oh, my...I wish I could hear your station here
in Westchester....but I don't think I can.
That would be pretty funny.

I'll bet more than half your contestants will
sound better than Bon Jovi.....

where in Westchester? I used to own a home in Croton-on-Hudson. My younger brother recently bought a home along a golf course in Peekskill - I try to get up there once in a while to visit.
