Tons of them. I plan on doing the same. I think I know what point you are trying to make, but it makes no sense. Nobody that I am aware of in either the U.S. or Mexican goverment has said anything about tourism or temporary or permanent residency (green cards).

last time i heard, foreigners could not OWN land/property in mexico. you can lease it, and lease it for like 99 years, but you cannot own it. which means the conditions are subject to change. and they DO change - just ask the people who sunk their retirement $$$ into homes in baja; they are majorly f*cked right now, and they dont have a legal pot to p*ss in...

before they would release his body.
