Rags Just got back from Ronnie Lane's 60th birthday celebration in Austin, TX. On April 1st (Ronnie was an 'April Fool') we celebrated with a screening of the documentary 'The Passing Show, the Life & Music of Ronnie Lane' and a live performance from Ian McLagan & the Bump Band. The Bump Band debuted their new CD, 'Spiritual Boy - an Appreciation of Ronnie Lane' on this magical night. 'Spiritual Boy' is a collection of Ronnie's music from the Small Faces, Faces and Ronnie Lane's Slim Chance days recorded to celebrate his 60th birthday. Ronnie was in the house, and I know he would have been proud of one and all who took part in this special event.

We just kicked off Ian McLagan's artist page at KIAC Radio. You can sit back and listen to sounds from 'Spiritual Boy' and help spread the word on this fabulous new album celebrating the life and music of Ronnie Lane.

Mac's artist page at IAC: http://iacmusic.com/artist.aspx?id=38696

Signed copies of 'Spiritual Boy' are available directly from Mac at http://www.macspages.com/merch.htm

You can also join the Bump Band on myspace where we've uploaded four tracks from 'Spiritual Boy' - http://www.myspace.com/ianmclaganandthebumpband

PLUS, get a sneak preview of 'The Passing Show' film at the Meher Baba Film website. The documentary features interviews with Pete Townshend, Ian McLagan, Eric Clapton, Kenney Jones and many more of Ronnie Lane's dear friends and family. Check out a 15 minute clip here:

We'd love to hear your feedback, so please post comments here, on myspace, or the IAC site.

Btw, you guys are great! Thanks so much for all your support. I've told Mac about his cool community of fans.

Break The Spell Thanks for all the links, I'd be interested to hear Mac's album. Hopefully Woodie works with Rod again in the studio and tours again with him, I never got a chance to see them together. Ronnie could help Rod kick his current easy-listening slump. Sure, the money's good, but down deep I feel he wants to rock aain.
