Wrong.
July 5, 1978.

20 minutes with Mr Jagger in his Hotel Suite.
He could NOT have been more gracious to two very very awestruck fans.

I'll never forget him peering at us through the chain at the door and then letting us in!!!!!!!!!

What a charming man.

awesome!!! For all the gripes we have about the band, the boys really are good at heart. MJ and KR are just straight up cool and charming in their own ways, Ronnie seems like he could make anybody smile, and Charlie is a gentleman by definition. Bill was a bit boring but seemed kind enough.

This is beginning to sound like Six Degrees of Separation ... Hi, I'm Bob Belli, son of a famous lawyer? King of Torts? San Francisco? Gimme Shelter? Yeah! Can I borrow a hundred bucks?

glencar Didn't our former poster Telecaster claim to have met either Mick or Keith at a country club when he was a youth? Now I have my doubts.

JOHN MACMANUS?

jb Mick must be extremely guarded with anyone but his closest friends and family. He has been a super-star sinc ehis teens, and it must be very hard to maintain any semblance of a normal
life given his fame. I wonder if even his owm bandmates knoiw the "real" Mick Jagger.

Dylan, sadly, has long looked down upon his fans . He has very little , if any, interaction with them when on stage, and has been known to refuse to sign autographs. He is not by any means fan friendly, and he tends to think of himself as better than everyone else. Why do you think he often insults Jagger on not being able to write? He is not a nice person, a divider, seeking to promote his own weird agenda.

dude, pick a side of the street and stick to it

Thank you, my friend.

Ahem...don't be shy.

jaggergurl has met the ENTIRE band!!!!!!!!!!

The first fan to greet Mick after his Father's passing. That chokes me up everytime I think of it 'cause there isn't a fan more deserving nor a sweeter fan to represent all of us.

Martha LJ, I remember with great fondness our first time meeting and you telling me your Mick story...which truly blew my mind.

It's priceless as are you!

Love you sister,

;-)
12th April 2007 12:49 PM
GotToRollMe Yep, jaggergurl, don't be shy! You've met the entire band!

And LJ had the rare treat of spending some time with a remarkably unguarded Mick. He obviously felt he had nothing to prove to two starstruck fans, and was singing and dancing around the room like a little kid. I always tell her how lucky she was to witness such an ingenuous Jagger. And it couldn't have happened to a nicer person!

LadyJane You gals are making me all weepy (go figure )

Almost 30 years ago and I can still picture his face vividly.

I would like to have seen MY face when he started strutting on the Couch in his suite!!!!!

MJ: "So 'ow did ya like the show, yesterday?"
LJ: "It was great, Mr. Jagger. I know you must hear this all the time, but we LOVE the Rolling Stones so so much."
