in 1989 my cousin got a call the day before the Stones AC pay per view show. He's a dentist, and someone was calling to place a teeth cleaning appt. for the entire band... He said he couldn't take them all. He thought it was a practical joke anyway.... BUT!!! a few hours later a limo pulls up, and out walks Mick Jagger. |

South Jersey in the house! ...
I met his wife once (at Shop Rite, when it was owned by the Starns -- it will forever and always be known as Starn's!), and if I recall she said they saved the check, or something like that.
What a week that was, starting from the moment the band turned up in the middle of the night at the Marriott Seaview (where they stayed for several nights, since it was a three-night stand at then-Convention Hall; the rumor was that band had problems with Trump, so they went inland).
My brother was working at the Seaview at the time, saw Mick and Jerry and kids hanging at the indoor pool. Everyone had a story of some sort. Everyone saw Keith and Ronnie at the lobby bar. The excitement was just unbelievable... |

Ah yes, the Shore... Dude, you've met my family.... Crazy! Bill Perks knows my cousin the cop too. It's a small world.
When they were staying out in Absecon, my Dad's mother in law had a lunch date out at the country club. The She had no idea who they were or why they were there until she got there, she told me Jagger was the ugliest man she ever met....
Oh, and my cousins of course got me Jaggers autograph, I have been looking for that thing for the past 5 years... If it was Keith's, I would've framed it... |

I've got Keith and Ronnie's autograph on my LIB CD cover. |

Everyone around there has at least a cousin, if not a brother, who's a cop or a fireman Growing up, I was under the impression that getting on "The List" for the Atlantic City Fire Department was like being knighted. |

My Dad was a Firefighter, but left to go work in a Casino... My grandfather drove a Jitney. I've got 12 cousins all living and working in AC still, I'm the only one who left... I grew up in Ventnor, alot of my Dad's old buddies from the VFD now work in ACFD, and I've heard it's a great job. |

keith, on the ohter hand, would be cool to meet..
seems very freindly and appreciative to the fans,
but mick would scare me. |
