F505 Steve Earle played in Tivoli Utrecht last night but unfortunately didn't play any Stones song in the encore The last time but one I saw him he played Before They Make Me Run. Still he is the best artist the United States bring about just now!

Steve IS great. When I saw him he ended with "Time (Has Come Today)" by the Chambers Brothers. I wouldn't say "best in the US" because Bob Dylan is still an American last time I checked, but he is one of my absolute favorites. And not afraid to speak his mind! Did he have any political axes to grind? Here he usually speaks out against the death penalty, but I'd imagine there's no need to do that overseas.

F505 Well FPM C10 he did play "Time (has come today)" tonight! and yeah he made a statement about the war. As you can imagine he doesn't agree with it. On the drum kit there was a slogan against the war.
But I must agree. You're right. I did forget Bob Dylan. He is just one step beyond Steve.
