Topic: My version of "Midnight Rambler" Return to archive

mrhipfl So I decided to record a cover of rambler, and I think it came out pretty well. It's the first time I picked a harp, so it needs a bit of work, to say the least. The guitars came out surprisingly well imo. What do you think?

CraigP You are definately getting somewhere.
If you want some creative critisizm... On the vocals: stand back from the mic a bit, add some reverb. Don't try too hard to sound "Gritty" just project it like sex.

mrhipfl Thanks for the reviews guys!! And I know the vocals sound kinda distorted but when I tried to stay back the mic didn't pick it up well enough. (It's a $9.99 mic from Target :/)

Really? I would like to hear your demo. Is it all covers or are there some originals?

sammy davis jr. If you want some creative criticism...... Try finding the key before opening mouth. "Everything alright in the critic's section?"
