The biggest pit I ever saw was on the lawn at the Pacific Amphitheatre during "Angel Of Death" on the Clash Of The Titans tour. We abandoned our good seats to go up there for Slayer.
At Ozzfest I also had great orchestra section tickets. During Raining Blood people flooded into the aisles to form a pit right on the stairs. Some fat guy broke his ankle, compound fracture. |

In the 80's, I never felt apart of anything until two things took place and changed my life... Getting completely loaded, and being in a pit. Those two things were the first time in my life I had ever felt alive, and probably helped carry me along until I found a life I could live! |
