Ok,on dime, theres "happy birthday nicky" bootleg to be
downloaded.
Cd 1 is from perth 24.3.73(1st or 2nd??)
Cd 2 is from from Sydney 26.2.1973???
I have the bootleg cd from VGP "welcome to autralia"
this is supposed to be show from 27.2.73,,not 26.2.73.
So the real question is:Which date is right or wrong,or
are BOTH of them correct?
I donīt recall, that theres EX sbd recording avilable from
BOTH dates?Or is there really?
I do have Happy birthday nicky(oh boy) but thats from Perth
24.2.1973,1st&2nd shows........or do i have wrong info
on this one as well?
Iīm re-writing,and remastering my collection,,,,been out of
trading business way tooo long. |

Marko, there was only one concert in Perth, so the info on DAC's Happy Birthday Nicky is correct.
Disc 2 of Oh Boy's version contains the Feb 26th show.
...DAC sounds a lot better, by the way |

Was there a show on february 27th as well? |

Yes, that's the one available on "Welcome To Australia". But "Backstrap Jacket" is on the RO tracker; it sounds a little nicer than VGPs version of this show |

I thought Rock and Roll Stew was the 26th. |

Yes, Rock n Roll Stew is Feb 26th. So does disc 2 of DACs Happy Birthday Nicky...plus it sounds a bit better than Rockn Roll Stew

Erik is correct
When those two soundboards first circulated in the mid/late 80's, they were listed as being from both shows in Perth - but there was only one in Perth and the other comes from Sydney 26/2/73.
the Perth one is an incomplete show as I recall. The 'Happy Birthday Nicky' is the giveaway for telling them apart. 24.2.73 was his 29th birthday. |
