VoodooChileInWOnderl Is one of the greatest studio outtakes (in my humble opinion), I first heard it in 1989 from the LP vinyl Claudine, it is the first track of side 4.

It was recorded back in early 1978 during the Some Girls Sessions at the Path Marconi Studios in France, It was composed by Mick Jagger, Keith Richards AND Ronnie Wood. Stu is playing piano on it. There are two versions. During these sessions many outtakes saw the light of day later in Emotional Rescue and Tattoo You, but this one has been circulating only as a boot.

I have an MP3 but it is 5,920 Kb size

These are the lyrics from Keno's site (http://www.keno.org/Songlistnlyrics.htm)

I want more Fiji Gin, but full name is Billy Dean
Tell him to bring his electric guitar, 'cause a poor boy goin' insane
Then we'll duck two bars away, snort an ounce of cocaine
Took myself about 55 jars, 6-pack more a champagne

Ohh baby... I love you...Oh my baby
Oh baby I love you

Better watch out for the Fiji Gin, come-up and spend the day
Come on and bring your wah-wah pedal, then let's go on stage
Ronnie brought about, 50,000 kids, and then slipped out in the rain
Fell from the beat to the 25th floor, white girls go insane, eeeh

I love ya...
I wanna pounce, all right

Better watch out for the split-side Anna, Fistford is out for a raid
Call me up and feed to 21st floor, the poor chicks go insane
You bust 2 ribs (!!), you bust 2 arms, his legs is like stumps in the rain
His brain is shred, his nose is bled, but his hands, they sure could play

Better watch out for the curse-i-anna, come on Billy Dean
Come on bring your electric guitar 'cause these boys are just gonna play
Come on down Miss Sus-i-anna, Figi Gin's gonna rein
Tell him to bring a, wah-wah pedal, boy we're going insaaane

Stonesmillenium2001 Fuji Jim was mentioned in the track Family.

yellow1 wasn't it "EG Jim" in Family ?

Talking about Fiji Jim, does anyone remember a Mick AOL chat where he mentioned that song and said he had rerecorded vocals in December 1993 ?

CocaBuena Yes, I think he sings EG Jim

...That he can't play his guitar like E.G. Jim/
Or write St. Augustine if he tried...

VoodooChileInWOnderl Here's the MP3 file! Download it now, as I need to have the space free of MP3 files, even that this is not official music.

FIJI JIM MP3 FILE

Some ignorant lawyers censored our space for MP3 links (with some of our own), check it how it looks now LOL ( http://www.albec.net.mx/personales/rocksoff/mp3.htm )

On June 16, 2001 the hit counter of the WET page was inserted here, it had 174,489 hits. Now the hit counter is for both the page and the board. The hit counter of the ITW board had 1,127,645 hits when it was closed and the Coolboard didn't have hit counter but was on line only two months and a half.
