1961 - The Beatles played their first date at Liverpool's Cavern Club.

1965 - Rolling Stones Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Bill Wyman were arrested for "insulting behavior" after urinating on the wall of the Francis Garage, a gas station where the band members had asked to use the men's room; when the owner refused, they went anyway.

1969 - John Lennon and Yoko Ono were married in Gibraltar. Two days later, they began their "bed-in" for peace at the Amsterdam Hilton.

1970 - Country Joe McDonald was fined $500 for leading a crowd in his Fish Cheer ("Gimme an F..!") at a concert in Massachusetts.

1973 - Lou Reed was attacked onstage by a femans fan who screamed "leather," then proceeded to bite him on the rear end.

1974 - Jefferson Airplane toured for the first time with their new name, Jefferson Starship.

1976 - Free guitarist Paul Kossoff died of unknown causes on a flight from London to New York. He was 26.

1982 - Guitarist Randy Rhoades was killed when the plane in which he was riding buzzed Ozzy Osbourne's tour bus and crashed into a house.

1991 - Eric Clapton's 4 year old son, Conor, fell to his death from the 53rd floor of a New York City apartment.

1996 - The Beatles' "Anthology 2" was released and featured an overdubbed John Lennon song, "Real Love."

1999 - Photos of Keith Richards were published on the web, of him sunbathing in the nude and trying to get some self-satisfaction.

Vacendak Hmmm..... Bill's first co-credit with Jagger/Richards? But not surprising that Keith would be among the first to be piss tested. Never necessary since.... just have Keith wizz a bit, drop in a match, and it ignites and sends up quite a wee bit o' smoke.... just don't inhale. Of course, Keith went from "we piss anywhere" to "me get pissed anywhere." Rock Onnnn.....
