I have seen Anthrax several times. The best was with John Bush on vocals in 1993 and 1994. The "reunion" version totally sucked balls opening for Priest recently. Saw Death Angel once as well as successors The Organization.

Tool was okay at first but got boring real quick. Iron Maiden is one of my all time favorite bands. Seen them 10 times though not since Jan 04. Real ballsy move on the last tour by playing the whole new album in it's entirety followed by 5 older songs. Motorhead are great, seen them several times and even met Lemmy and hung out with Phil Campbell at the studio. Even if you like to party, I would recommend not even trying to keep up with that dude.

fireontheplatter i like the black crows for sure, but i have gone off them a bit lately. chris robinson has a weird choppy voice and sometimes that bothers me..he is not ver flowing, if you know what i mean.
when shake your money maker came out i was all over it. i like southern harmony and the musical companion too. i can pretty much take them or leave them after that.
good friday is a good tune.
22nd March 2007 06:52 PM
Saint Sway I dont hear the choppy voice thing

Good Friday is an excellent song. They need to write more like that one

"Let It Be Gone" is Rich Robinson on vocals and lead. Not MFF.

I love when they open with "Dont Do It" - you know your in for a fun ride.

The show I posted is FREE to listen to on their website.

"Street Fighting Man" is done the way it should be

NATIVE NEW YORKER

New York City

New York City girl

New York City

New York City girl

You grew up riding the subways

Running with people

Up in Harlem, down on Broadway

You’re no tramp, but you’re no lady

Talkin’ that street talk

You’re the heart and soul of New York City

And love

Love is just a passing word

It’s the thought you had in a taxi cab

That got left on the curb

When he dropped you off East end 3rd

You’re native New Yorker

You should know the score by now

You’re native New Yorker

The music plays

Everyone’s dancing

Closer and closer

Making friends and finding lovers

There you are, lost in the shadows

Searching for someone

To set you free from New York City

And oh

Where did all those yesterdays go

When you still believed

Love could be like a Broadway show

You were the star, when did it close?

You’re a native New Yorker

No more hope is the door

For a native New Yorker

You should know the score by now

You’re a native New Yorker
