I went to see her show in Hollywood last night. She still has such a great presence and voice. She had a solid band backing her including Fernando Saunders (who works often with Lou Reed) on bass. The set ran the gamut of her catalog from the beginning up to her latest release on which she worked with the likes of Nick Cave and P.J. Harvey. The concert was videotaped in high-definition so I imagine there will be a run on cable or a DVD release

at the henry fonda, i think - which is across the street, and a stone's throw (dig the pun??) from the pantages (which is where i was, seeing mr bob dylan)...
