I read once an interview with Page and he said that played on this tune. |

from tioos.com:
I actually played guitar on that song. That's actually not a very well known song... it was the B-side of a single. I played the lead guitar on that... and also sang backup vocals.

Neon Avenue?
Page played on "Hear of Stone" and "One Hit", plus some Oldham Orchestra crap, that's about it if memory serves.
Beautiful song indeed, I realized the other day I had tagged it to the GHSoup folder on my MP3CD from the Stones in the 70s ;-) Too bad the Stones had so few B-Sides of interest throughout their carreer..."Turning to Gold", "Mad", that's about it.
I think it was the first song produced by the Glimmer Twins too. Possibly because it came out as a IORR b-side though, maybe Jimmy Miller did some uncredited work. |

yes a Beautiful song it a wonder it did not make it on the album.
I wonder why
surely its better than "Till The Next Goodbye" and "If You Really Want To Be My Friend" they are great songs not taking anything away from them but "through the lonley nights" I rate better. |

My memory serves me the way that it was produced by Jimmy Miller, but the A-side -IORR- by the Glimmer Twins. It was a leftover from GHS sessions? (By the way, those GHS sessions seemed to be were really fruitful for following years). Correct me if I'm wrong.
