AS Mick and Keith strut their stuff in front of 50,000 adoring Rolling Stones fans in Sydney next month, one section will be screaming louder than the rest.
Jagger plans to catch up with his extended Australian family backstage at the gig, including his cousin Peter Scutts.
The frontman's mother, Eva Scutts, was born in the outer-Sydney suburb of Camperdown and Jagger always hosts his relatives at a gig or afternoon tea when in town.
"They are all coming to the show and we'll have a little catch-up backstage. We're not in Sydney for very long this time: it's a lightning visit," Jagger said yesterday.
The Stones, who are touring Japan, will be giving only two shows on the Australian leg of their A Bigger Bang world tour, including the Telstra Stadium concert on April 11.
The US leg of the tour grossed $228 million.

What a lucky man to have relatives in so many places to offer afternoon tea. |
