Sir Stonesalot, go to pollstar.com. Even though they have annoying popups, they have schedules for shows that have and have not been announced, often to chagrin of the particular promoters promoting a tour, who may not be ready to announce said tour yet.

Martha I am shooting for the Dylan and Haggard shows April 10th and 11th.

Want to see Clapton with the incredible Derek Trucks (but haven't looked for those dates).

THIS SUMMER !!!!!

" There's nothing in the way I walk that could tell you where I'm going,
There's nothing in the words I speak that can betray anything I'm knowing,
Don't think about the way I dress, you can fit me on a labelled shelf,
Don't pretend that you know me 'cause I don't even know myself,
Ooh I don't know myself.

I don't mind if you try once in a while,
I don't mind if I cry once in a while,
The doors aren't shut as tight as they might seem,
I'm just trying to fight my way out of this dream.

Don't listen to the words I say, weighing up if I'm enlightened,
Don't shiver as you pass me by, 'cause mister I'm the one who's frightened,
The police just came and left, they wanted me and no one else,
Don't pretend that you know me 'cause I don't even know myself,
I said I don't know myself.

I don't mind if you try once in a while,
I don't mind if I cry once in a while,
The doors aren't shut as tight as they might seem,
I'm just trying to fight my way out of this dream.

Do you remember me, I don't remember you,
Do you still love me, you know I think you do,
I have been gone, and some prison warder knows my scream,
I'm just trying to fight my way out of this dream.

There's only five who know my real name,
And my mother don't believe they know it,
What she called me is the way I'm staying,
And no one'll ever know it,
Come on all of you big boys, come on all of you elves,
Don't pretend that you know me 'cause I don't even know myself,
I said I don't know myself..... "

Donald Fagen Gets Inspired
Steely Dan's co-leader talks about Charlie Mingus, Mick Jagger and "Morph the Cat", his first solo album since 1993

" I saw you at a Dylan show last year. Have you seen a great show recently? "

The Rolling Stones at Madison Square Garden. I was just so amazed by the pure physical energy that this sixtysomething person -- Mick Jagger -- was able to expend during a show.

" You sound inspired. "

It was inspiring. All I have to do is sit there and sing. So if Mick can run around all night like a rooster on acid, maybe I could do this for a while.

Dan I have no idea, tend to decide the day of if I feel like going out tonight.

HANOI ROCKS if the US tour ever happens (not holding my breath)
maybe AC/DC if it happens
maybe AEROSMITH/MOTLEY CRUE if it happens
CHEAP TRICK once they put the new album out and hopefully add some new songs to the setlist

My cousin is trying to book D.R.I. for a gig out in Victorville on July 4 so maybe I will hit that one too.

FPM C10 Miss Youngblood and I will be seeing Mr. Ralph Stanley from the front row of the Whitaker Center in downtown Harrisburg PA on April 13. Beyond that, Zimmie hasn't announced his east coast tour dates yet, but we're due for a big Bob Fix.

Say "Howdy" to Ralph for me Flea! He'll sign after he gigs at the table. Glad you'll get to see him. Check out his old tour bus...it's a hoot has Kerry stickers still on it.

Bob isn't doing up the East coast this tour. I have to go all the way to AZ and NM to see him! Good thing we are moving West anyways!!!

I didn't hear that Neil is touring. Any dates up yet?

peace out,
Martha Mellencamp

Yet, oddly, you did not list this as one of the shows you were going to see this summer.

Plebe.

I only listed the big ones. Last year we saw more than 100 live acts; this year we have tix already for Lolla, bluesfest and taste are free, and we hit Milwaukee at least once each summerfest. Plus the Drive By Truckers show is not on sale yet, nor advertised (although it is listed on jambase and Vic websites). Also, if the DBT play a summertime festival in Chicago, we'll see them there instead of inside at the Vic. The summer concert calendar in Chicago is not completely revealed until the end of April. Finally, we are more patrician, than plebe, by appearance alone.

God I hate Summerfest.

Anyways, I was joking about the plebe thing. Sorry you got so all bent out of shape about it you felt you had to resort to listing live show attendance creds...
