Zack Dude, it's "bated breath." Funny the word "bated" is used exclusively in the context of this idiom, meaning eagerly anticipating. Weird, but not fishy.

someone posted a track listing on one of the Black Crowes message boards and I nearly wet my pants. I cant wait to hear it. Lots of Faces rarities. Including "Love In Vein" and some live versions of my favorite early Ronnie Wood solo tracks
