Keith added some trinkets to his hair. Is that a lion tooth hanging over his right ear? The rainbow headband he wore at the Hall of Fame last week is the same rainbow on the universal peace flag that was at Saturday's anti-war rallies. It's the same rainbow as on the gay pride flag. (Did Keith wear it in honor of Jann Wenner's coming out of the closet? Or to protest the war? Or just because he wanted to add some color to his black and white ensemble?) |

This was the song of the 80's.
It became Rocky's theme song.
First popped up in Rocky 3 when he fought Mr. T. It's also in Rocky 4 where he takes on the rusky Ivan Drago. I never saw Rocky 5 though but i bet it's there too.
I remember coming out of the dark theatre after seeing a Rocky flick, shadow boxing with my friends, singing this tune. Those were the days. It was either arnold, stallone or chuck norris. These dudes knew how to kick ass and take names.
Maybe I'm naive, but my first and only thought on that multicolored headband Keith wore was that it was some Rastaman-thingy he brought back from the islands, but yea LOL it does look like one of those gay flag stickers, maybe he was giving a shoutout to all his lil gay buddies.

I'm tellin yous, Jim Peterick is a major talent. He's a local hero too, went to the same high school he did, but many years later. "Vehicle" is a great song as is "Hold on Loosely."
