Mr. SV and I are going to the red carpet premiere Sunday night! I can't describe how exciting this is for me, having been at the Beacon for the filming and having attended Rolling Stones concerts for the past 33 years.
I don't really know what to expect from the event--other than some great people watching. The Daily News says Leo DiCaprio, Val Kilmer, Gina Gershon, Kelly Lynch, Brett Ratner and Jonathan Demme will all be there. And of course the Stones & their families and Scorsese.
We have the invitation in hand, but not a lot of details are available until after we check in at the theater.
I will be reporting in to LJ!

i had a chance at going to this too! I was up for a radio contest with the grand prize being admission to the press conference and then the premiere on sunday... I had a bunch of people helping me and we won 4 of the 25 minor prizes which was a copy of the cd and a pair of tix to the toronto SAL premiere. Unfortunately someone else won the draw for the grand prize... I'm so disappointed! |
