Sexo, Drogas e Rolling Stones – Tales of The Band That Refuses To Die is the title of José Emilio Rondeau and Nelio Rodrigues’s book that Brazilian publishing house Agir will release in early April.
The 360-plus pages of the Portuguese-language book cover the band’s 46-year career, from its 1962 begginings until the release of Martin Scorsese’s Shine a Light.
It comes packed with rare and previously unseen photos, intimate backstage and boudoir reports by the protagonists themselves as well as by those close to them, detailed features on all Stones’ trips to Brazil – both as performers and as plain visitors -, starting in 1968, and extremely-hard-to-find period press-clippings.
Sexo, Drogas e Rolling Stones – Tales of The Band That Refuses To Die is the first-ever Brazilian book fully devoted to the Stones’ career.
The book will be avaliable on April, 4.
