Gazza Tomorrow's show will take the total attendance for Stones' shows at the Tokyo Dome past the one million mark

It will be their 25th show at the venue since 1990
(10 in 1990, 7 in 1995, 4 in 1998, 2 in 2003 and 2006), taking it past the 24 shows at Madison Square Garden since 1969 and making it their most played 'touring' venue since the days of residencies in a few London area clubs in 1962-63
22nd March 2006 07:57 AM
corgi37 Lucky it is there last time there. Next time, they might not fill 1 show.

Gazza Looking at those pics of Mick and Keith together, the stage appears to be the one that they used for the North American stadium shows

Were there on-stage tickets for these concerts?

Gazza Toru from Tokyo, who posts on IORR, reported that he was able to hear part of the soundcheck from where he lives near the stadium and it sounded like one of the songs rehearsed was "I'm Free"....

maumau I'm free will be so cool
When was it the last time they played it (a part from stripped version)?
22nd March 2006 09:13 AM
Gazza US tour 1969 and also at Hyde Park

The "stripped" version was a studio recording, however.
22nd March 2006 09:17 AM
maumau wow, so that would be something
back in the set after 37 years...

Many 1965-66 era songs would fit nicely into the set, I'd like them to try out "Have You Seen Your mother Baby, Standing In The Shadows" again. The version on "Got Live..." is great.
