Great flick, Foxx does a fantastic job, I'm about to double feature while it's still fresh on the pay-per-view

got a 12-er of some great czech pilsner in the fridge, a bowl of popcorn & Rays on the tube

IanBillen I just watched this movie last night.

I totaly agree with Jamie Foxx's supurb acting effort.

However,

I feel the story was much too repetative.

Ray cheats on wife
Ray has new hit
Ray does heroin

Over and over again. I was waiting for some really breaking point in the story and it never came.


*By the way, before all this hoopla about Ray Charles was running rampid I was going to go see him early last summer at the Bull and Bear tavern in Boardman, Ohio. It is just 20 minutes from me.

Sadly he fell and broke his hip and had to cancel.
Sadly and suddenly he past away shortly after.

I always regreted not getting the chance to see him.
