egon I'm alone this weekend. Girlfriend's a weekend in Paris.
It's a beatiful day today. Sun is shining, about 25°c

I'm just walking around the house, doing loads of... well, nothing really. Just dicking around and having a few beers. (Yes, the Dutch ones)

And in the CD player, yesssss, Talk is cheap!

LIFE IS GOOD.

Wishing you all a nice weekend.

Cheers,
Egon

J.J.Flash And I'm here wishing the same for you my fave dutch muttafucka!

And thanks for the hint...."Talk is Cheap" is the next here for me too. And the best of it....it won't be on my CD player....but on my TURNTABLE.....thousand times better I might add....as raw as it gets.....as Keith it sounds.... believe me..... nothing can beat LP's.........

The equipment was broken.....but as I was always lazy to take that for fixing up. Also, I was scared with the price they could ask for. Then......with "when you got nothing, you got nothing to lose" in mind....I decided to try by myself (my father always has been good fixing up things on his own).

Now ask me why I am damn happy?!?? Oh, and I still haven't opened any pin of beer.

Now I have to listen: Deep Purple - Fireball, Alice Cooper - Schools Out, Judas Priest - British Steel, Mick Jagger - Primitive Cool........the list goes endless......

Saint Sway Talk Is Cheap is the 1st album I listened to today. Its been on repeat ever since.

I put it on shuffle, with "Rockawhile" as the 1st track. Great, great song to start your day to.

I'm working out of my morning fog and getting ready for some lunch time beers and smokes as I prep for tonites Black Crowes concert. And "Talk Is Cheap" is the perfect companion!!

cheers!

texile make no mistake is the best thing anyone has ever done outside of al green; and out of focus is the best thing anybody's done outside of ...ANYBODY; mick's most sincerely soulful song since ...shit i don't know when!
aahh - songs that make me proud to be a stones fan.
if you only combine the best of spirit with the best of talk, you'd have one of the best stones album since undercover......
March 23rd, 2005 11:16 AM
glencar The best of "Talk" & the best of "Spirit" combined = Bridges To Bablyon.
