J.J.Flash Hey folks, how are you doing?
Well, I really want to know what do you think about "The Man From Elysian Fields" with Mick Jagger and Andy Garcia?
I saw this movie a few months ago and I really liked the performance and the role of Jagger. Andy was amazing too.
People, peace and happiness! Take care!

howlinrock I just rented "The Man From Elysian Fields" last night. Mick does an excellent narration and turns in a good performance. He runs an escort service for wealthy women. The tailored suits were ever so stylish. A good cast in this flick. There is a scene where Mick tells Angelica Huston he no longer wants to accept her money and his feelings get hurt. The emotional look on his face was quite memorable. Their chemistry together shined well. The film has nice locations (LA) that create a warm atmosphere to this film. On a musical note Pete Yorn's "Just Another" (great song) was used to full effect. I enjoyed this movie very much. RENT IT......

kc152 Great movie. Some very funny lines in it like Mick or should I say Mr. Fox saying to Andy Garcia "maybe you should bone up" james Colburn was great in it as well. I believe it was his last performance. I am surprise to see how little talk there is about this movie on this and the other Stones message boards. You would think there would be threads like Mick Gets snub by the Oscars. I sometimes get the feeling that some Stones fans really hate the idea that Mick has interest outside of the Stones. They feel any success Mick has on his own might endanger the Rolling Stones

ChrisTresper I think it's Mick's best work ever. It is simply an awesome movie.

glencar I just got this DVD yesterdaaaaay & am so looking forward to seeing it. I had heard that Mick's name was submitted to the Golden Globes organization but I guess they thought the same old nominees should get it again.
