NYC soul legend Carlton J. Smith & his band are back with a soulful tribute to the worlds greatest rock and roll band - THE ROLLING STONES. The 2+ hour marathon performance will cover every era and classic song of the Stones and feature Carlton and New York's finest singers pouring their hearts and gritty souls out into each performance.
Singer, songwriter, producer, actor, Carlton J. Smith is often referred to as Soul Brother Number New for his hard-charging R&B act. His widely acclaimed R&B/Soul Revue shows are real crowd-pleasers.
To say that Soul Music, Rhythm & Blues, as well as Funk have been major influences on Carlton J. Smith, is putting it mildly. After all, he was the first man to portray the legendary James Brown on the silver screen in Barry Levinsons Liberty Heights. A job he did so well, rumor has it, that even Mr. Brown thought the far-away shots were of him!
